The Tennessee General Assembly adjourned sine die last night, marking the end of the 2026 legislative session.
During the session, lawmakers considered measures impacting the rights of Tennessee gun owners. Notably, Senate Bill 350 and HB 2588 were signed into law Governor Bill Lee. SB 350 prohibits landlords from including lease restrictions impacting the ability for a tenant to possess, carry, store, or transport, firearms, ammunition and components. HB 2588 authorizes public schools to offer hunter education.
