Paul Walsh was honored for his exceptional grassroots leadership and dedication to advancing the Second Amendment through his work with NRA-ILA. A retired public servant with 35 years of experience, including leadership roles in municipal parks and recreation and at The Ohio State University, Walsh carried that same spirit of service into his volunteer work after retirement. As a FrontLines Activist Leader in Central Ohio, he rebuilt partnerships with a regional store chain, helping restore NRA events across five locations and organizing ten events in 2025. While on vacation in Puerto Rico, he launched the island’s first NRA 2A Day, an effort that helped inspire the island’s first FrontLines Activist Leader.
The NRA-ILA Jay and Paul Littlefield Award is one of the organization’s highest honors, recognizing an NRA member who has shown exceptional volunteerism and leadership in defense of the Second Amendment.
