NRA-PVF Endorses Rep. Scott Suder For Re-Election

Fairfax, VA--The National Rifle Association`s Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Representative Scott Suder, a long-time advocate for Wisconsin`s gun owners and sportsmen, for re-election to the State Assembly in the 69th District.

Chief NRA lobbyist, Chris W. Cox stated, "Rep. Suder is a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights. He played an instrumental role in successfully passing amendments to the Wisconsin State Constitution, guaranteeing citizens the ability to continue a rich tradition of hunting and fishing. Rep. Suder`s "A+" rating is the highest a candidate can earn from the NRA-PVF."

Rep. Suder has also lead efforts to pass the Personal Protection Act (PPA) in his state. Wisconsin is one of only four states in the country without Right-to-Carry laws, although studies show that states with Right-to-Carry laws have lower criminal activity.

Rep. Suder`s opponent in the September 14 primary election, Diane Murphy, stands in stark contrast to Suder`s pro-gun voting record. She vehemently opposes passage of the PPA, a bill passed by a two-thirds margin in both houses of the General Assembly. She stands with a vocal minority of legislators who oppose this common sense measure.

Cox continued, "Unlike Rep. Scott Suder, Diane Murphy does not represent the values of Wisconsin`s heartland. Because of this, she has earned a "D" rating from the NRA-PVF."

NRA urges all members and gun owners to vote for Representative Scott Suder in the Republican primary election on Tuesday, September 14, in Wisconsin`s 69th Assembly District.
