The Ledgeview Town Board is meeting this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, located at 3700 Dickinson Road in De Pere to vote on a proposed firearm discharge ban. The ordinance divides Ledgeview into four districts that do not currently exist and places different rules on those districts as to what legal discharge is allowed. Residents that reside in a district that has an outright ban on discharge of firearms will not be allowed to recreationally shoot or hunt on their own property.
Please make plans to attend the hearing and make your voice heard during the public appearance portion of the meeting to protest this infringement of your Second Amendment rights. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact the members of the Ledgeview Town Board.
