House Bill 1982, sponsored by State Representative Mike Thomson (R-4), removes the six month residency requirement for qualifying for a concealed carry endorsement, and;

House Bill 1651, sponsored by State Representative Mike Dethrow (R-153), changes the laws regarding the firearms safety training requirement for obtaining a permit to carry a concealed handgun to allow proof of certain types of military service to satisfy the requirement.
