The event will be held on October 11, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. -- 12:00 p.m., at the Mark Twain Museum in Hartford, CT. Featured speakers will include NRA Board Member Ken Blackwell; Prof. Nicholas Johnson, author of “Negroes and the Gun”; Garland Hunt, Governor Appointee to Georgia State Pardon and Paroles, and others.

The second panel, moderated by Richard Ivory of HipHopRepublican.com, will discuss the use of social media and messaging in politics, as well as black conservatism. Both panels will be open to questions and answers from the public.
There will also be an evening cocktail reception where attendees can "Meet & Greet" the speakers. The reception will be held in West Hartford from 6:00 -- 9:00 p.m.
