Christopher David was at home asleep in Edmond, Okla. when his dog alerted him to a bat-wielding intruder. Davis met the criminal at the front door, but the man forced his way inside and struck Davis with the bat. Davis responded by retrieving a handgun and fired at the home invader, striking him and causing him to flee. The intruder retreated to a nearby house and was captured by police a short time later.
