Yesterday, Legislative Bill 68 was introduced in the Nebraska Legislature. LB 68 is an important bill that will help protect the Second Amendment rights of all Nebraskans by creating a preemption statute to ensure that firearm and ammunition laws are consistent throughout The Cornhusker State.
This much-needed legislation will discontinue the practice of firearm registration by localities and prevent such registration practices by others in the future.
