Today, the Washington Legislature began its 2017 Legislative Session. Last year, Washington Attorney General Bob Ferguson promised to introduce legislation in 2017 that would ban the sale of popular and commonly-owned semi-automatic rifles and ammunition magazines in the Evergreen State. Following through on that promise, AG Ferguson announced two anti-gun bill proposals today designed to do just that. No bill number currently exists for these proposals, but the Attorney General already has sponsors lined up to sponsor these bills. As always, your NRA-ILA will continue to fight off these attacks and work hard to advance reforms that promote and protect your Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage.
