NRA Launches Colorado Media Campaign In Support of Judge Neil Gorsuch

Fairfax, Va.— The National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) today launched a media campaign urging U.S. Senator Michael Bennet of Colorado to oppose a filibuster and vote to confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court. This ad will air on Colorado television stations beginning today, Monday, April 3.  This is part of a $1 million ad buy focusing on senators in a number of states. 

 “Right now, we don’t have a majority on the Supreme Court in support of our basic right to keep a gun in our home for self-protection," said Chris W. Cox, executive director of NRA-ILA. 

 "Judge Neil Gorsuch would strongly defend our constitutional rights, including the Second Amendment.  It's critical that the U.S. Senate swiftly confirm Judge Gorsuch."

This ad campaign comes as many Senate Democrats are attempting to derail Gorsuch’s confirmation. 

"Coloradans support their constitutional right to self-protection. Sen. Bennet should oppose Chuck Schumer's filibuster efforts and vote to confirm Judge Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court," concluded Cox. ​
