In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Laura Kelly has issued Executive Order 20-16. This “stay-at-home” order requires all businesses except those deemed “Essential” to close down. Thankfully, EO 20-16 designates businesses that “Preserve Constitutional or Legal Rights” as “Essential,” including stores that “manufacture or sell, firearms, firearm accessories, or ammunition. During this time of uncertainty, it is critical that law-abiding citizens remain able to access their Second Amendment right to self-defense.
