Join Your NRA and Governor Bill Lee for an Online Meeting

Please accept this invitation to join Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, NRA-ILA legislative State Director Matt Herriman, and NRA-ILA grassroots staff for a legislative update on the evening of March 22nd.  Hear directly from Governor Lee as he promotes the importance of his constitutional carry legislation House Bill 786 /Senate Bill 765.

To join us at this can't-miss virtual legislative update, please click the red button below.

WHEN:

Monday, March 22nd
Beginning at 6:30PM EST/5:30 CST

WHERE:
NRA-ILA Grassroots Virtual WebEx Meeting

HB 786/SB 765 allows any law-abiding adult who is legally eligible to obtain a carry permit, to carry a handgun without first having to obtain government permission. This ensures that citizens may utilize their right to self-defense without government red tape or delays. It does not affect previously issued carry permits, and allows citizens who still wish to obtain a permit in order to carry in other states recognizing Tennessee permits, to do so.  Sometimes called permitless carry, Constitutional Carry would ensure that no honest, hard-working Tennessean is ever left defenseless while waiting for government permission or wading through red-tape.

Should you be unable to make this virtual event, but would still like to stay up to date with our legislative progress, please email your Senior Grassroots Field Coordinator Trey Ramsey at [email protected] to get the latest updates.

We cannot overstate how appreciative we are of Governor Lee taking time out of his schedule to share his insight on this legislative push.  We hope to see you on the 22nd!
