Utah: Permitless Carry Goes Into Effect

Today, May 5^th, Utah’s House Bill 60 went into effect after Governor Spencer Cox previously signed this NRA-backed legislation on February 12^th. This ensures that law-abiding adults, aged 21 and over, can carry a concealed handgun without first needing to obtain government permission. Utah is one of 20 states that recognize permitless concealed carry.
