Tomorrow, Thursday, February 16th, the House of Representatives will vote on Senate Bill 98, a bill that removes the requirement to be re-fingerprinted for the renewal of the enhanced permit. Please contact your representative today, and urge them to support SB 98.
Also, earlier this week, the House Judiciary Committee defeated HB 1213, a bill that mandated firearm storage, and, HB 1227, a “red flag” proposal. The so-called “Red Flag” orders, or Emergency Risk Protection Orders, are designed to empower the government to confiscate Americans’ firearms without due process of law. NRA-ILA thanks the committee leadership for standing up for all South Dakotans’ freedom and right to self-defense.
