The Wyoming House voted 61-0 to pass SF 148, a bill that enhances the current firearm preemption laws. SF 148 ensures the Wyoming state legislature has the sole authority to regulate firearms, preventing counties and municipalities from passing a patchwork of confusing and conflicting local laws throughout the state. Governor Mark Gordon signed Senate File 148, Act 56, into law and it went into effect immediately.
