Grassroots Spotlight: Texas Grassroots

This week, your Texas NRA-PVF team hosted numerous events, stretching from Harlingen to San Antonio, to promote our Second Amendment efforts and to highlight specific Texas House candidates who stand with us. The first event was the Harlingen “Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Meeting” on October 1st, held at Harlingen Convention Center. With the great turnout of people and Texas State House Rep Janie Lopez’s commitment to fight for the Second Amendment, South Texans can count on a big Second Amendment voter turnout in the upcoming election.

The second event was an “NRA Second Amendment Day” (NRA 2A Day) at the Bass Pro Shops in Harlingen on October 2nd, where the Texas NRA-PVF team enjoyed the afternoon with Bass Pro and its customers, answering questions, and handing out free NRA-ILA informational literature and swag. Representatives from the NRA-endorsed Adam Hinojosa for Texas Senate campaign attended as well.

The third event was another NRA 2A Day, this time held at Ranger Firearms in San Antonio, on October 3rd. This Pro Second Amendment gun store has been a long-time staple in the San Antonio proper area.

The final event of the week was the San Antonio GOTV Meeting” at Nardis Gun Club Alamo Ranch, on October 5th. With the great help of Nardis Gun Club, and our Texas State House Reps Mark Dorazio, John Lujan, and Ben Mostyn’s devotion to protecting our freedom to bear arms, this Pro-2A event was the right sort of thing to help turnout the vote this November 5th.

Texas NRA-PVF thanks everybody for their ongoing support, and their desire to proudly stand-up for the Second Amendment. Be sure to Vote!
