Utah: Recodification Bill Advances From Rules, Scheduled for Public Hearing Tomorrow

With your help, HB 133 has now advanced from Rules and is scheduled for a public hearing tomorrow morning at 8:00am in the Senate Government Operations and Political Subdivisions Committee. Please use the Take Action button below to contact members of the committee and urge their support of House Bill 133!

House Bill 133, sponsored by Representative Karianne Lisonbee, is a recodification of Utah’s existing firearm laws. This legislation makes Utah’s current gun laws easier to read and understand while making several clarifying policy changes to ensure the protection of Second Amendment rights for all of Utah’s law-abiding gun owners.
