Yesterday, March 11th, the Senate passed Senate Bill 75, allowing law-abiding adults aged 18-20 to carry a concealed firearm for self-defense. SB 75 will now be transmitted to the House for consideration.
Senate Bill 75 removes discriminatory restrictions prohibiting law-abiding adults aged 18-20 from carrying a concealed firearm for self-defense. Recent court rulings have held that 18-20-year-olds cannot be disenfranchised from handgun ownership, and pro-gun legislators are proactively seeking to expand the right to self-defense and concealed carry to all law-abiding legal adults.
