Ohio NRA-ILA FrontLines Activist Leader (FAL), Paul Walsh, recently went on vacation to Puerto Rico. While planning his trip, he realized there was a local gun store and began organizing an “NRA 2A Day” event on the island! The event was held at Armería El Bunker, in Ponce, one of only a handful of gun stores in Puerto Rico.
Nearly a hundred people from across the island attended the first-ever “NRA 2A Day” event, and learned about the various programs and resources available to them. Many attendees signed up for NRA-ILA FrontLines Alerts to stay informed about federal legislation that impacts them. A few even inquired about how they could get more involved and become FrontLines Activist Leaders themselves, so they could continue hosting events on the island. The owner of Armeria El Bunker was very excited about hosting the NRA and the overall turnout of the event. The store hopes to host more events in the future, to share NRA knowledge and resources with Puerto Rican gun owners.
