Oklahoma construction contractor Buddy Brown, of Muskogee, awoke to see a man armed with a single-shot shotgun standing next to his bed. Declaring he was a drug addict, the man forced Brown to hand over $150. Brown then made a dive for his own shotgun, whereupon the robber fired and missed. Brown returned fire and cornered the man in a bathroom. The intruder threw out the money, scuffled with Brown for a moment, then broke and ran, leaving the money and his shotgun behind.
