Arizona Legislative Alert - Help Improve Arizona`s "Right to Carry" Reciprocity Law, Call Your Lawmakers Today!

Senate Bill 1297 makes much needed improvements to Arizona`s current "Right to Carry" reciprocity statute. SB 1297 was reported out of a joint House and Senate conference committee today, April 27. Senate Bill 1297 allow a greater number of states to enter into reciprocal agreements with Arizona. These changes will give law-abiding Arizona carry permit holders the ability to carry a firearm concealed for the protection of themselves and their families in more states outside their home state. SB 1297 now moves to both the House and Senate floors for a vote early next week. Please call your State Senators at (602) 542-3559 and your State Representatives at (602) 542-4221, as soon as possible, since the legislature is expected to adjourn for this year`s session on Wednesday, May 2.
