Georgia Self-Defense Legislation Needs Your Help!

Friday, March 23, 2007

Your State Senator Needs To Hear From You Today!

SB 43 is scheduled to be heard this coming Tuesday, March 27 and your State Senator needs to hear from you today!  Big corporate businesses opposed to your gun rights are working overtime to stop your right to self-defense!

SB 43, sponsored by Senator Chip Rogers (R-21), would protect the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding gun owners to possess firearms in their locked motor vehicles on an employer’s property and would provide businesses with immunity from civil liability for the unforeseen actions of third parties.

The Lieutenant Governor and your State Senator are receiving pressure from anti-gun businesses to hold hostage our right to keep and bear arms and our right to self-defense!

Please contact Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle and your State Senator today and urge him or her to allow SB 43 to come up for a Senate floor vote and to vote “YES” on SB 43!

Please make this important phone call today!

Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle can be reached at the following address and phone number:

240 State Capitol
Atlanta, GA 30334
(404) 656-5030
Statewide (Toll free): (866) 351-0001

Fax: (404) 656-6739

The general phone number for the State Senate is (404) 656-5040.  If you need help identifying your State Senator, please click here.

Let your State Senator know that you are counting on him or her to stand up for our Second Amendment rights by voting for SB 43.

Do not let the Georgia Retail Federation, Georgia Realtor’s Association, and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce dictate to the State Senate what employees can and cannot have in their locked private vehicles.
