New Jersey Bill Introduced to Increase Accessibility to the Outdoors for Our Armed Forces Personnel!

Senate Bill 865, sponsored by State Senator Christopher Connors (R-9), adds more individuals with certain types of military service to the list for free admission to State parks and free hunting and fishing licenses.  The new exemptions include members of the organized reserve of the Armed Forces of the United States which is located in New Jersey; an active duty member of any branch or department of the Armed Forces of the United States who are residents of the State or based or stationed in the State regardless of residency; disabled veterans; and retired members of the New Jersey National Guard. 

S865 has been referred to the Senate Environment Committee, with no hearing set at this time.
