Maryland: 2A Tuesday Inclement Weather Policy

Maryland: 2A Tuesday Inclement Weather Policy

As previously reported, next Tuesday, February 2, NRA-ILA, along with Maryland Shall Issue, the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore, and the Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association, will be holding the third annual “2A Tuesday” rally and lobbying day in Annapolis. This is an important opportunity to show lawmakers in Annapolis that gun owners and sportsmen in Maryland will not be silent.  (Full schedule below)

As “2A Tuesday” approaches, it is important that members and attendees are aware that inclement weather could become an issue.  If inclement weather causes the closure of Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) on Tuesday, February 2, then “2A Tuesday” will be postponed and rescheduled for a later date.  AACPS closure information can be found here.

Your NRA will keep you updated as necessary and looks forward to good weather and a productive day of citizen lobbying in Annapolis.

The “2A Tuesday” schedule of events for the day is as follows:
9:00 a.m. - Citizen Advocacy Training, Room 170 in the House Office Building
10:00 a.m. - Rally at Lawyer’s Mall
12:00 p.m. - Meet with your legislators in House and Senate office buildings
1:00 p.m. - Meet with organizations, Room 170
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. -- Information, Questions, and Answers by representatives of sponsoring organizations, Room 170
