The man behind this manufactured opposition is billionaire and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Yes, the same Bloomberg who tried to prohibit large sodas in the Big Apple has now set his sights on restricting your self-defense rights in the state Capitol. The irony is that he pursues this goal from his posh urban residence up North, insulated by a swath of armed guards he pays to protect him.
