South Dakota: Gun-Free Zone Repeal Heads to Governor's Desk

On Wednesday, March 11th, House Bill 1218 received final passage and will now be transmitted to Governor Larry Rhoden's desk for his signature. House Bill 1218 prohibits political subdivisions from restricting concealed carry on properties they own or lease for employees, officers, and volunteers, and repeals gun-free zones at eateries and establishments that serve alcohol.
