Last Chance for Gun Owners to Ask U.S. House to Amend the Reconciliation Bill

Last Chance for Gun Owners to Ask U.S. House to Amend the Reconciliation Bill

The U.S. House of Representatives has another chance to amend the current Reconciliation Bill making its way through Congress. The Reconciliation Bill would currently rescind the unconstitutional tax on suppressors, but it doesn’t remove them from the National Firearms Act (NFA) completely.  Thus, gun owners would continue to be subjected to the intrusive background check, government registry, extended wait times and required government permission slip.

Gun owners have an opportunity to finally end this blatant infringement on our constitutional rights when the Reconciliation Bill is brought before the House Committee on Rules this week!

Call your Member of Congress immediately and tell them as a gun owner you support including Section 2 of the Hearing Protection Act into the Budget Reconciliation Bill as part of the Managers Amendment in the House Committee on Rules.

Please call today! As an NRA member and gun owner, your voice matters and needs to be heard by your Member of Congress. If you aren’t sure how to contact your Member of Congress, please call the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 where you will be directed to your U.S. Representative.
