Grassroots Spotlight: Green Top Outdoor Expo

Earlier this month, your Virginia NRA -ILA Grassroots Team had the honor of participating in the annual Green Top Outdoor Expo, hosted by Green Top Sporting Goods in Ashland, Virginia. As one of the region’s largest, annual outdoor events, the Expo welcomed thousands of NRA Members and Second Amendment Supporters, and featured over 225 vendors from across the firearms, hunting, and outdoor industries.

For the NRA, it was a great opportunity to engage with our base at the grassroots level. Our team worked at the NRA booth all weekend, signing up new NRA members, recruiting FrontLines volunteers, and having hundreds of conversations about the importance of voting in the upcoming elections.

With freedom-loving Virginians turning out in force, the Expo served as a powerful reminder of the energy and passion that drives our movement and presented us with a very timely opportunity - just ahead of the upcoming Elections in Virginia - to remind our members and supporters, that elections have consequences and that every vote matters when it comes to protecting our constitutional rights.
