Yesterday, the Senate passed SB 300. While this legislation was amended to remove the provisions to create a firearm registry, onerous licensing requirements that will drive many Delaware gun stores out of business remain. This legislation now goes to the House for further consideration.
SB 300 would impose costly and burdensome new requirements on gun stores that go far beyond what is required at any other retail establishment, including high end surveillance cameras, video storage and more.
NRA-ILA will continue to monitor this issue and provide updates as they become available. Please stay tuned to www.nraila.org for further developments and to help protect your Second Amendment rights.
