Maryland: Join NRA and Second Amendment Supporters on February 6 in Annapolis

Wednesday, January 30, 2013

Stand up for your Right to Keep and Bear Arms

On Wednesday, February 6, the Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee will be hearing Senate Bill 281, and your voice is needed in Annapolis to prevent passage of this and other irresponsible and onerous legislation.  This sweeping anti-gun legislation is riddled with tried and failed policies that avoid viable solutions to the actual causes of crime and only prevent the law-abiding from exercising their right to self-defense.  For more information about Senate Bill 281, click here.

It is important that you attend the Second Amendment Freedom Rally and stand up for our Second Amendment rights before it is too late.  State lawmakers and citizens alike will be speaking at the rally and NRA Grassroots staff will be in attendance.  Plan to attend, and take this opportunity to learn how you can join NRA and other Second Amendment supporters in staying involved.  It is also very important that you sign up to testify at the Senate committee hearing which begins at 1:00 p.m.  Information on how to testify can be found here.
