This week, two important range protection bills moved forward in both House and Senate committees. Both the Senate Municipalities Committee and the Senate County Affairs Committee approved SB 2466, NRA-backed shooting range protection legislation sponsored by Senator Walter Michel (R-25). The bill now moves to the full Senate for consideration as early as next week. Also this week, the House approved HB 346, the House companion shooting range protection bill sponsored by Representative Warner McBride (D-10). That bill now moves to the Senate for consideration. We'll keep you posted as these two bills continue to move through the legislative process!
