Tavarius Lewis, a Papa John’s pizza delivery man and right-to-carry permit holder in Augusta, Ga., was lured to a vacant residence by a criminal who intended to rob him. As Lewis attempted to make his delivery, the criminal approached him with a BB gun drawn and demanded money. Lewis drew his .40 caliber pistol and fired at the robber, striking him several times, ending the attempted robbery. The robber was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Police will not charge Lewis is in the incident.
