Washington: Legislature Adjourns Sine Die

On Thursday, March 8^th, the Washington Legislature adjourned sine die from the 2018 Legislative Session with anti-gun Senate Bill 6620 failing to receive a vote.  SB 6620 would have prohibited the purchase and transfer of all semi-automatic rifles to adults under 21, and would have also established up to a 10 day waiting period. 

While your NRA-ILA has been on the ground in Olympia working hard with pro-gun legislators to defeat the outrageous anti-gun bills this session, it is thanks to your continued contact with your state legislators that makes all the difference.  Thank you to NRA members and Second Amendment supporters that attended committee hearings and contacted legislators throughout the session.  Additionally, thank you to all of the legislators that stood strong on protecting Second Amendment rights in Washington.
