NRA-ILA’s Grassroots Programs and Campaign Field Operations Division hosted multiple seminars during the 2019 NRA Personal Protection Expo in Fort Worth,Texas to educate gun owners on the importance of getting involved in the 2020 Elections. It is no secret that the anti-gunners are fired up and well-funded, and if we are going to be victorious on Election Day, it will be because pro-Second Amendment voters start now to prepare for next year’s elections.
At multiple 2020 Election Update seminars, NRA-ILA staff stressed the importance of uniting towards the common goal of making sure that pro-Second Amendment politicians are elected next year. You needn’t look any further than the Democratic Presidential Debates to see that our freedoms are under assault, and it is up to gun owners and gun rights supporters alike to hold the line against these unprecedented attacks on our freedom.
While the seminars in Fort Worth were focused primarily on the different technologies, programs, and resources available to NRA-ILA Grassroots volunteers, the current fight on Capitol Hill was also discussed. Make no mistake -- elections have consequences, and we are witnessing that firsthand with the actions of the anti-gun politicians running the U.S. House Judiciary Committee. It is up to youas a Second Amendment activist to get involved todayby contacting your lawmakers, continuing to keep in touch with them in the coming months, and keeping their votes in mind come Election Day 2020.
