Idaho: Shooting Range Funding Legislation Expecting Floor Vote Soon

As early as today, the Idaho Senate could hold Third Reading on shooting range funding legislation, House Bill 286. Please contact your State Senator and ask them to SUPPORT House Bill 286.

House Bill 286, sponsored by Representative Caroline Nilsson Troy (R-District 5B), clarifies existing law and directs dedicated funding to public shooting ranges. This measure will support public shooting ranges by ensuring that money is properly distributed to them as it is collected by the Department of Fish and Game. HB 286 received unanimous support as it passed the House in March (69-0).
Again, please contact your State Senator and ask them to SUPPORT House Bill 286.
