Last month, in recognition of the dedicated grassroots efforts to advance Louisiana as the 28th Constitutional Carry state, the Louisiana State Legislature formally honored the National Rifle Association and their state affiliate, Louisiana Shooting Association, at the state Capitol, for the work they and their members did to support the victory of NRA-backed legislation, Senate Bill 1, sponsored by Senator Blake Miguez.
The efforts of NRA and LSA reached Louisiana supporters and state lawmakers in various ways; including via critical email alerts, in-person and virtual political and legislative meetings, organizing and testifying at the state Capitol, and by keeping NRA members and Louisiana citizens informed and equipped, every step of the way. This success is a landmark victory for the Second Amendment, and it was accomplished by landmark Second Amendment supporters! The work to protect the Second Amendment will continue, and the grassroots outreach by NRA members and supporters will lead the way!
