The NRA-ILA Grassroots Team was proud to represent the NRA at the annual Iowa Firearms Coalition’s Capitol Second Amendment Day which took place on February 18th, 2025, in Des Moines. This was truly a day in celebration of the Second Amendment & Freedom! Guest speakers included Maj. Jeff Struecker, known for his involvement in “Black Hawk Down” and the NRA’s very own CEO & Executive Vice President, Doug Hamlin. Doug talked about the successes of the NRA and its continued efforts in defense of freedom. His message left those in attendance motivated to engage in the fight and many rushed to join or renew their memberships following his presentation. The NRA has invested considerable amounts of resources into promoting & protecting the Second Amendment both nationally and in Iowa. We were honored to take part in this annual pro-2A event!
