North Dakota`s experience should reassure Minnesotans worried about concealed weapons. A new law easing those rules in Minnesota is creating a lot of concern there. But North Dakota`s long and successful experience with the easier rules suggests that much of the concern is misplaced. The reason is that North Dakota (and some other states) has had a similar system for years. Yet the state enjoys one of the rock-bottom lowest crime rates in the nation.
