Earlier this year, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission voted unanimously to legalize suppressor use while hunting all game animals. As reported here by NRA-ILA, this decision came after the Commission considered the benefits associated with suppressor use, including increased accuracy associated with reduced recoil and muzzle blast, protection from hearing damage and reduced noise pollution. This law will take effect on September 1, 2012.
